Location Based SMS in Canada

Anchor Mobile has expanded their Location Based SMS platform to include the Canadian carries Rogers Wireless and Telus. Bell will be supported by the end if the year. This will makes Location Based SMS compatible with 90% of Canadian mobile phone users. 

This platform uses geo-fences to send SMS alerts to subscribers within the boundries. This creates a more percise way of SMS marketing because it creates a target market based on location.
